• All About  Mr. Narigon

During the course of the school year, I get to know a lot about my homeroom and science students. Therefore, I felt you might want to know a little bit about me.

    • I am a graduate of Fort Cherry!
    • I attended California University of Pennsylvania and received a B.A. Degree in Arts and Recreation in Human Services and an M.Ed. Degree in Elementary Education.
    • I held several jobs prior to obtaining my teaching certification: Assistant Director of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Washington County, Childcare Specialist at Southwood Psychiatric Hospital, Adolescent Therapist at Chartiers MH/MR, and Assistant Director of Upward Bound at Waynesburg University.
    • I volunteer at Pine Springs Camp in Jennerstown, PA. I have also directed summer camps there for 32 years!
    • I love to vacation at the beach, in the mountains, or at Disneyworld! Some of my greatest travel moments were 2 weeks spent in Turkey and the Republic of Georgia while on a mission trip, and an opportunity to fly to Florida several years ago and witness a NASA space shuttle launch up-close and personal (thanks to a fellow Ranger who works at NASA)!!!
    • I have two sons who are 23 and 27 years old, and both are graduates of Trinity High School.
    • I am the founding co-director of the Fort Cherry Elementary Center Christmas Musical and the Sixth Grade Science Camp Weekend.
    • I love teaching 6th Grade Science! This is my 26th year teaching sixth grade at Fort Cherry Elementary Center.
    • I am a HUGE fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers!!
