My name is Ms. Maggie Kosky and I am one of the therapeutic emotional support teachers at Fort Cherry Elementary Center.  I teach mathematics to students in grades K-6 and I am a casemanager for students in grades 4-6.  This is my 6th school year at Fort Cherry and I am so excited to continue working with the students!

Math Curriculum:

In my classroom we utilize a variety of different websites for our daily instruction as well as using McGraw Hill Math Curriculum.  For grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 5 we utilize the McGraw Hill MyMath program, grade 4 uses Reveal Math, and 6th grade uses Illustrative Mathematics.  In addition to the paper workbooks there are digital workbook pages that the students have access to through McGraw Hill ConnectEd.  On my Google Classroom I also post each unit as a Kami addition so the students have another digital resource for their work.  

Google Classroom:

My Google Classroom account is set up and running!  If your student is in my class, they have access to my Google Classroom where I post announcements, weekly agendas, digital resources, and any Zoom links that may need to be accessed.  

Boom Cards:

In my classroom we sometimes utilize Boom Cards for review activities or skill practice.  If a deck is assigned, it can always be found on my Google Classroom.  

IXL:

Each month we complete monthly IXL benchmarks to assess student progress and growth.  Occasionally an IXL will be posted as a graded homework assignment for the week.  

Quizlet:

On Google Classroom I post links to Quizlet activities as a review or to practice fact fluency for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  All links can be found on my Google Classroom.
