As of August 30, 2023, the Pennsylvania Department of Education revised its policy regarding eligibility of students who may receive a Free and Appropriate Education based on age. Effective immediately, students with IEP's are eligible to receive special education services until their 22nd birthday. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has established
this site to assist with answering questions related to this policy. The Department is mailing letters to any affected student, and the District will contact directly any family who meets eligibility criteria.
