Substitutes
Fort Cherry is always looking for great Teaching Substitutes with Bachelor's Degrees.

Please submit Applicant Requirements to the address below:

  • PA Standard Application
  • Resume (if available- PA standard app is very comprehensive)
  • Letter of interest
  • Undergraduate/Graduate Transcripts
  • Clearances  (renewed within the last year)
  • Teaching certificate - or - application for an emergency certificate (application would be completed after interview)
After employment:
  •  TB test (test read within 3 mo of start date)
  •  Mandated Reporter Training (within 30 days of starting)

Student Teacher Substitutes
Student Teacher Subs with 60 Education credits or more (per PA Dept of Ed):

Requirements
  • A letter from your department head or Dean stating you have the minimum number of hours (60) and are of good moral character and standing in your class
  • Copies of your PA state Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI fingerprint clearances
  • TB test (within 3 mo of start date)
